About Sioux City Community Assistance
Our Mission
People experiencing homelessness have so many barriers to getting housed such as no income, mental health complications, substance dependence and little or no family support. The City of Sioux City works with them to overcome barriers and become successfully housed. Sioux City Community Assistance ,a 501(c)3 non-profit, provides funding for items to assist those experiencing homelessness that cannot be covered by federal grants received by the City of Sioux City. These items are necessary to help individuals and families find and secure permanent housing.
Our Team
Here at Sioux City Community Assistance in partnership with the City of Sioux City, we strive to provide outreach to homeless individuals and families, eliminate barriers to housing, make the transition into housing sustainable and long lasting, and provide ongoing case management.
